I'm a student at a university that gives students an academic licence for Windows XP and I was just wondering if it would work with virtual pc standalone. Is that what this version is for? Would I lose any functionality from getting the standalone vs. just getting a regular

Does Windows2000 run faster in VPC than Windows XP? I bought a copy of Virtual PC for Mac without Windows, so I can install whichever version I want.. but I'm wondering which version of WIndows will run the fastest under VPC.

I am currently running VPC 6.1.1 and trying to install a Novell 5.1 Server. The installation goes okay until I reach the point where I have to choose a network interface. I have used the same interface that Windows emulates (Intel 2140) but to no avail. Can anybody help

I have recently bought Virtual pc xp for my mac, its a g3 with a 700mhz processor, 20gigs harddrive and 356ram. when i play videos, both the picture and sound stutter. Is there anything anyone can advise me with.

I have a 1gH DP G4 with Panther 10.3.2 running on it. I have installed VPC 6.1.1 with Windows XP. I get it up and running, but about every other day I receive an error when booting the VPC HD stating NTLDR: Fatal error 32769 reading BOOT.INI. Anyone know why I keep getting

When I try to start virtual pc I get the message "unrecoverable processor error" and then must restart. I have uploaded the latest version of VPC but the same issure reoccurs. Any suggestions?

There are 2 things I'd like it to do. One, I want it to let me install an application on Windows XP whose installation program stalls if it detects it is being run on any Windows NT variant rather than Win9x.

On a Powerbook 1.5Ghz, 1G RAM Just got a copy of virtual PC from my University and installed Win XP. As a PC user as well, I've installed Win XP many times and followed the same procedure as I normally do.
