I want to bypass OSX and boot to OS9 to see if VPC runs faster. My Powerbook has OS 10.3.4, and OS9 appears to run under OSX. I cannot go to the OS9 and run VPC as an application. VPC appears to always run under OSX, and I do not want to install a separate VPC under OS9.

I've just installed VPC 6.1.1 running Win XP under Mac OS 9.2.2. I can connect to the Internet using Virtual Switch and manually setting up TCP/IP. However, I wish to use Shared Networking (the default) for protection against viruses. I can not get this to work, however.

I have been given a VPC 2004 image of our new XP loadset for testing. Works great under trial version of VPC 2004 (the Windows version of VPC) but no go under VPC 6.1. It comes up with a "Processor Error. Will Restart" almost immediately. Then it restarts and keeps giving the same ...

On a Mac running Virtual PC we receive the following error when trying to start a Windows program and don't know what it means, so we don't know what to fix. Does anyone have a clue? Here's the full error message:

I'm looking for the new computer, Powerbook G4 with os x v 10.3 is my choice. But I need to use the program just like "Express WebPictures" and "Kazaa". So I don't know that these window program will work on vpc or not. If it does, how slow is it?

I am running Win '98 on VPC6.1 on a G4 DP867. I want to run some software that requires the Y2k update #2 which requires the Y2k update #1 to be installed first. When running Y2k.exe, it fails to be able to extract the last file called ACTPMNT.OCX. The error message says
