Does anyone have experience installing just plain ol' DOS? I don't need or want Windows. I need just DOS because I have an old fogey programmer friend who build this great database for me in DOS (of all things) and my old PC is about to die and I don't want to replace it.

I'm trying to connect to my work using Cisco VPN Client. Works fine on my old PC, however when I try to connect using it via VPC on my MAC, I receive "remote peer is no longer responding" error message. My internet connection on VPC works fine.

I want to put Win98 or Win2k in VPC instead of XP, but my Win98 and Win2k CDs apparently aren't bootable. My guess is that I need a boot floppy, but how do I get the floppy image (I'm on Mac 10.3.4)?

VPC doesn't support dual processor machines and apparently never will! It's not hard to implement dual processor compatibility.

I have a Power Mac G3, which is a secondary system in my computer usage that originally was equipped with Virtual PC 2.1. But once I installed Operating System 9.0, I no longer can retrieve it (even though it lists the program when you do a search ).
