I have (lots) of images built in VPC2004 for Windows. (Developer
training images, mainly - VS.Net, SQL, BizTalk - stuff like that.) A
customer wants to know if we can convert them to run on the mac.
Anyone been through this?
How to make a smaller disk image in VPC6?10 May 2004 08:12 GMT6
I have VPC6/WinXP Pro, which I run on a beleaguered iBook G3-500.  The
speed, though, isn't so much a concern as the amount of disk it THINKS
it needs.  Gigs and gigs... which I don't really want to spare.  I didn't
see any tools in VPC for sizing the disk image better - is anyone ...

Pathetic, just pathetic07 May 2004 03:36 GMT1
Look, I¹m trying to be patient here.  I¹ve had my dual 2.0 G5 since the day
it came on the scene last year.  I use it heavily for video editing.  But I
am a financial applications consultant by day, and I need Windows for that
purpose.  Since VPC is not compatible with the G5 yet, ...

Saving as a PDF from Virtual PC04 May 2004 23:39 GMT2
My iBook has a handy function that allows me to save a document as a
PDF when using the print function.  I would like to do the same for a
web-based application form that I can only access through Virtual PC.
Does anyone know how to do this?  I do not understand Windows well

I'm using version 5.0.1 & I just reformatted my drive and am

launch VPC, it requests the administrator's login name & password so
that it can finish starting up. I am the only user on my computer, I
Virtual PC for the G5??04 May 2004 12:30 GMT3
I made the smart and bold decision to chuck my pathetic Windows system and
get a cool PowerMac G5 desktop, loaded. But when I stepped into the Apple
Store armed with my credit card, the sales rep shook his head when I said I
would need to run Windows (XP). He said that there is no ...

After upgrading Virtual PC 6.1 with Windows XP Professional to 6.1.1
