Will VPC enable me to install Windows versions of software on my Mac. I am new to Macs, and just found that all my software will not install (as it is Windows version), and I'm hoping to get round having to fork out lots of money for different versions.

VPC 6.1.1, Guest OS is Windows 2000 Professional. After selecting the installation options of "SDK, Samples and Documentation" and clicking next the install hangs for awhile, then reports that you need to install the "SDK" in order to install the other options. But "SDK" is

I have Virtual PC 6.1 and am trying to decide between installing Windows ME or Windows XP. My system is a 700 MHz G3, with 384 MB RAM and 120 GB hard drive (on my FireWire drive).

I'm attempting to get my Garmin GPS receiver (which has a USB port) to talk with the Garmin MapSource software, running under VPC and Windows 2000. I'm using a TiBook 667 running OS X 10.2.8, and VPC 5.0.4. The Garmin MapSource software is version 5.4.

I run VPC 6.1 on an iMac 800 with MacOSX 10.2.8. I can connect VPC at internet with my ADSL modem but I have problem when it's necessary to dowload files from Microsoft Windows Update or other sites, it seems that Internet Explorer don't find the server. But with a 56 K modem

Will VPC 7 be available as a separate product/upgrade? I'll need it for my new G5, but have no need for the new Office. Thus far I'm only seeing VPC 7 listed as an afterthought in the pre-release marketing/previews. Thanks.

I have been trying for hours and am unable to get Red Hat 9 to install on VPC 6.1.1. The first time I got to about 90% files copied and then had a kernel panic. The second time I got to the final package (Mutt) and then VPC stopped responding. Any ideas?
