Do you guys find the new Powerpoint to be really slow to respond to keystrokes, and to mouse clicks?

I haven't found a way to compress photos in a PP presentation on Mac. In window it was an edit picture tool bar option: format picture, compress, all pictures in doc, to web screen resolution, approx 96 dpi. Anyone find a way to do this on a Mac?
