In Powerpoint 2008 I have a table that is formatted using one of the table templates.
When I try to shade a cell using Borders and Shading instead it just changes the font color.
Am I missing something? Is this a bug?

When I type in the speaker notes box, the spaces in between the words fluctuate, and sometimes the words overlap. I have tried to save then close the file then reopen to see if it resets, but no change. This is my first time using PPT on Mac.
