I just upgraded to Office 2008 for Mac from Office X for the Mac. When I go to slide show presentation and click for the next slide, the next slide comes very slowly - perhaps a 2 second lapse. This was never a problem with Office X. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to speed

Background transparency09 Feb 2008 18:30 GMT15
I find that if I create a slide show background consisting of an image
that is transparent (e.g. 75%) and then use a PC to show it, the
background transparency is removed resulting in a non-transparent
image that makes it next to impossible to read the copy on the slides.

PowerPoint Languages08 Feb 2008 22:03 GMT1
We have some French Exchange teachers who are using our Macs (10.4) and Office 2004. They would like to have Powerpoint (all other apps if possible) display in French. I found that I can set the computer language in System Prefs, but that does not change the language of PowerPoint.

can't REPEAT last action?? GRRRR }:(07 Feb 2008 17:21 GMT2
In PP2004 I used to be able to manually select 'send backward' from the Arrange pulldown, then hit CMD+Y to REPEAT the layer movement one layer at a time, moving the selected object down in the layering quickly but with precise control.

Now, after 'send backward', CMD+Y is disabled

I have tried to copy formatting from other documents that were
