I have a lot of templates I created in the last version of PP. SInce the 2008 version uses "themes", how can I import all of my templates so that they're available again. It would take many hours to recreate them.

I have a PowerPoint presentation created in the 2004 Mac version. But when I view the file using PowerPoint 2007 Windows, the type that is supposed to be transparent is opaque. If I upgrade to 2008 Office (Mac), will this fix my problem? That is, does the newest Mac version ...

I just installed Office 08. Every time I save a new powerpoint presentation, it saves it on my desktop as an Excel file. That is, even though it opens up as a powerpoint presentation, it is displayed as an Excel icon on my desktop. Any thoughts?

Is there anything I can do (other than having to remember to turn my screen saver off each time I use PowerPoint) when I am using Powerpoint? Even when I am in an active presentation, the screen saver will turn on if I leave a slide on the screen too long. Any thoughts? Thanks!
