Insert ppt slide into word document20 Jan 2008 20:49 GMT1
I cannot seem to insert a powerpoint slide as an embedded object into a word document -- I can do this on all Windows versions since like Office 98. I am using Mac Office 2008 Pro. Any ideas or is this not yet supported? I know for sure Office 2004 cannot do it, and I was hoping 2008

I have borrowed a Texas MP7730 projector, I have linked it to my Laptop and
when I boot up the process is shown via the projector, but when boot up is
complete the projector screen reads PC SEARCHING, I am an IT Pygmy so please
be gentle.

I purchased the new Office Mac update after reading about the "increased" compatibility with Windows.  Today I created a powerpoint on my mac and test drove it on our PC using Powerpoint 2003.  Problem is, it won't even recognize, let along open it.  Very frustrating.

Is it me or is it PowerPoint 2008? Features that are prominent in PPT 2007 for Windows can't be found in this Mac version - specifically, path animation, and timeline view. What gives? For this money I was expecting something more than Intel binaries and interface futzing. - something

When I cut text from adobe reader and paste in into power point I get a message of "bug work around" except if I go to special past and choose past unformatted every time??? I past then I get the original text.

In PowerPoint 2003, I was able to "insert slide from file." In PP07 I don't
seem to have that option... other than open the file and do a copy/paste. Is
this feature from PP03 no longer available in PP07 or am I just missing where
to find the command?

Hi, I'm running Powerpoint and Word for mac. When cut and pasting a slide from powerpoint into a word page, the resulting document  shows some unreadeble letters when openned on a PC.Can you help? Thanks guy

I'm doing my first PP presentation in 1 week. I would like to keep the "presenter tools" screen with all the slides and my notes visible on my computer, while only projecting the actual slide show. Is that possible? Thanks, Larry

using office 2008 for  2 days overall good experience except powerpoint having tremendous difficulties opening large complex ppt files (> 60 mb)  sometimes takes 5 minutes +

A movie file that I inserted into a slide plays audio but no video when in Slide Show mode.  The video clip will play perfectly well previewing it during the building of the presentation, and it plays fine outside of PowerPoint.  Interestingly enough, the whole set-up works on another

I cannot open a PPT on my MAC.
The PPT was created using Office 2007 for Windows.
I have Offce 2004 (with all available updates) on my MAC.
The error message is, "have the author of the 2007 PPT save it as a 97-2003
Mini slides on the  left bar on  normal view doesn't show.15 Jan 2008 19:34 GMT1
Hi, When I am on normal view, I only see the text of each slide on the left hand bar. I would like to see the mini slides instead but the feature on the function baar at the top stay gray. Could you help?
