Why when saved as a pdf isn't smaller?31 Jan 2008 23:41 GMT1
I am new to Mac - how come when I do a file save as on my powerpoint file (which is 25.5MB), it saves as a pdf file that is bigger than the original powerpoint file? I need to shrink it so I can email it out easily - to maybe 6MB - thoughts? Thanks!!

I made a presentation with hyperlinks to navigate between chapters and
charts. I did this on a mac using Powerpoint 2004.
When I sent the presentation to our customer using Powerpoint XP and to my
home pc using Powerpoint 2003 the hyperlinks get lost!

I have a problem opening a organization chart, becouse when i try to open, appear "there isn't enough memory available to read micrisoft organization chart", But i have 25 GB of memory available.

I especially like using the Screen Beings from an earlier version of Office. How can I import them into Office 2008? The simply Import command doesn't seem to work to import the folder? Do I have to do them one at a time? Argghh.

Just installed Office:Mac 2008, trying to create numerous guide lines in PP. Even in PP 2004 working with guides was annoying at best (difficult to select/copy/move, limit to # of guides, no way to lock guides, etc), but PP2008 is UNBEARABLE:

I have always pasted excel tables and charts into powerpoint as images, not excel objects. I prefer this for lots of reasons.

Problem : ever since I upgraded to Leopard and Office 2008 the excel tables appear "fuzzy" when I select "Paste Special" them as a picture into Powerpoint.

i have an image of my logo in three different formats: pdf, eps (CMYK)
and eps (PMS).  when i expand any of those images in powerpoint, they
pixelate badly.  i need to be able to expand and contract the image

I have inserted a vidoe file into a slide and selected "automatically play."
The file extension is .mov.   It does not, however, play; not automatically,
not if I click on the file in the PPt window nor if I click "Play" in the PPt
