I'm creating a scoring system for a quiz where I need to show the score for each team and then resort the results to show which team is in the lead. Is the only way to do this to create the data in Excel and 'copy' it into a chart in PowerPoint, or does anyone have any better ideas?

In one of two computers, when I create a PDF file from a PPT 2007 file with shadows and transparencies, using the "save as PDF" (not print to ADOBE PDF oedrer), the shadows and transparencies are not kept in the PDF file. In the other computer it works fine.

PPT v.X (10.1.9 (061018)) starts to launch, then quits unexpectedly under Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. The is the version of PPT v.X with all updates applied, including the 10.1.9 Update.

any text i insert on a presentation, the pc does not recognize it. it only recognizes what i write directly on the original text boxes of the presentation. so all the information i inserted is lost when i open the file on a pc. what's going on?

I have a couple .ppt and .pps files (no larger than 2 MB) sent to me as Entourage attachments. They will open OK, but then freeze, requiring a force quit. No problem with my own internal PPT files.
