PP Background Pics and Images13 Aug 2007 02:00 GMT3
I have about 500 images in my iphoto that I'd like to use as
background photos in PP.  The problem is that I cannot view them
through the regular "insert background" route.  I only get file
names.  Is there a way to view all of these without opening one file
Embedding hidden data in a slide using Applescript12 Aug 2007 02:49 GMT1
I'm in the process of creating a new solution to replace the VBA
AddIn we've been distributing for a few years now.
With VBA, I could add tags to a shape (picture) that I placed on a
slide, and those tags could contain strings of data that I later

Current problem:
I insert the video file to my slide but if I pass the power point file to
others or relocate the video file to other folder, the video will not play.

Strange auto zoom when my laptop is connected to a projector07 Aug 2007 17:40 GMT2

PC compatability06 Aug 2007 21:47 GMT1
I'm having a problem with the powerpoint presentation I created on my
Mac when it's opened on a PC.  The formatting is off on the PC version
(with the text not fitting, and graphs overlapping textboxes), but
appears normal on mine.  How can reconcile this?
batch import of jpgs?03 Aug 2007 00:38 GMT4
I'm a little out of practice with Powerpoint.
Using PPT2004 for Mac, is there a way (or some sort of add-on or
macro) that would allow me to batch import a folder of about 50
images, putting each image on its own slide?
Images cropped when printing from OSX 10.3.902 Aug 2007 16:03 GMT2
Has anyone come across printing slides - as handouts or slides - where the
images are cropped?
I am finding this occurs in MacOS X 10.3.9, but not 10.4.x, although same
version of Office 2004.

Mac files unreadable or parts missing when opened in PC versions01 Aug 2007 18:47 GMT3
I am experiencing some seemingly random cross-platform file errors
that I'm hoping someone else may have experienced and solved.
I am working with PPT 2004, 11.3.6. I run compatibility checks and
"issues" are rarely found; and when they are it's regarding
PowerPoint 11.3.5 Crashing every 10 minutes01 Aug 2007 18:47 GMT1
PowerPoint (v. 11.3.5) has been crashing every 10-to-15 minutes today.
I'm using a Mac Pro with 1GB of ram running 10.4.10.
I'm doing nothing to stress the computer. A simple presentation --
just bullets, tables, and charts. Simple fonts: Arial and Symbol. Also
