I'm increasingly seeing Powerpoint files that will not open in Office
2004 at all.  The error says it is not a powerpoint file.  But this
same file will open on any PC.

I'm rather new to PPT so please bare with me if the solution is
simple.  I'm MAC using MAC 2004 and a lot of the PPT I design is being
used on a PC (vers 2007). I'm having 2 poblems on the PC side.   It's
staright forward text over an imported background.

Ok here is a question, When I open PowerPoint under the file
there are several Powerpoint presentations that were created

In Powerpoint 2007 the shapes (e.,g., a box) is also a textbox. How can I
turn this off? I n the old PPT the shape was a shape and the textbox a
textbox.
With a shape being a textbook, the shape collapses (shrinks) when copied.

1. If I have a slide deisgn for a slide, then how do I know what that
slide deisgn is called and how can I find that slide design on my

I created a POT file for a client in both PPT 2003 (PC) version and
PPT 2004 (Mac) versions. When creating a new presentation on the PC
using the template, I can easily use the title and both the text

Laserjet 1300 printer) I use the option to print 2 hadouts per page, but the
image that is printed in relation to the A4 paper I am using is quite small.

Help. I am trying, as a favor..... to create a template or someone
using custom colors. When they open it on their computer (PC with
PowerPoint 2007), the custom colors are gone as are the fonts I
suggested. I don' think I am doing it right (duh!)

I just discovered the Round function is missing in the Mac version of

In PowerPoint how do you get the outline pane to view the slides like
in windows.  I can only see the outline view.  In windows you have the
choice between slides and outline.

I created a powerpoint slideshow on my Dell with a backround soundtrack, then
I burnt the presentation on to a CD and opened it on my mac so that I could
convert it to Quicktime for Youtube.
When I pressed "Make Movie" it did some stuff and then in the middle of

tried numerous insert options and when I went to select the file it
was grayed out.
