Right now my macros are contained in a locked .ppt file that is
included as part of my standardized build to all Macs.  Users can open
this .ppt and create a new toolbar, then drag the macro commands to

I seem to be having the same problem that someone else has.  I'm
working on a macbook with office X, and while excel and word work fine,
powerpoint crashes every time I open it.  Does anybody know how to fix
this? Is there a way to uninstall powerpoint and reinstall it?

Please forgive me if this a FAQ with a well-known solution. I haven't
seen it mentioned here.
I use Office v.X under OSX 10.4.8. In PowerPoint's preferences I've
turned off saving 'autorecover' files, and I've disallowed 'fast saves'.
