I'm trying to develop a PPT presentation (Office 2004 for Mac) for eventual use on Windows machines. I'm able to insert an AVI movie into the PPT. As expected, the "compatibility report" warns me about potential issues with Windows playback of QuickTime movies, and

| 2004: Insert Picture from File dialog - No preview | 03 Oct 2006 17:02 GMT | 2 |
What's odd about this is that when using Finder, we can get a preview of the image without clicking the More Info button, but when we use the Insert Picture from File browser we don't see the preview on network drives. On the local drive we see the preview fine.

| Most file properties not saved if a preview picture is enabled | 03 Oct 2006 16:58 GMT | 16 |
System is 10.4.7, PowerPoint 2004 + all patches. Problem is that if I have selected "save preview picture", no properties other than the title and company are saved. The preview is never saved under any conditions. If I don't choose to save a preview, then all other
