Window size is incorrect06 Oct 2006 18:56 GMT1
Fairly new bug (started with either a MacOS or Office update a couple
weeks ago)...
In PowerPoint, if you hit the green (+) button in the top of the window
to maximize the size of the window on the screen, it's supposed to
Crashing issues with AVI movies (Office 2004 for Mac)06 Oct 2006 15:29 GMT2
I'm trying to develop a PPT presentation (Office 2004 for Mac) for
eventual use on Windows machines. I'm able to insert an AVI movie into
the PPT. As expected, the "compatibility report" warns me about
potential issues with Windows playback of QuickTime movies, and
PowerPoint 2004 (11.2.4+) and Hyperlinks05 Oct 2006 12:31 GMT1
I'm having a problem with loosing hyperlinks between slides when moving
from Mac to Windows (and vice-versa). I found a thread from August
where this was discussed, and someone from MS said they are looking
into it. Is there a fix for this other than going back to 11.2.4? I'm
Powerpoint formatting?!05 Oct 2006 09:23 GMT1
I have an Office 2004 Powerpoint presentation which has a mind of its
own. It's updated frequently and on certain slides, I make changes

My file is now 38.5 megs and I need to be able to reduce that file down

Powerpoint 2004 issues03 Oct 2006 17:18 GMT2
1.  We are getting some crashing when working with images.  Usually on
import, but typically when using the sizing outline bars.
2.  When we try to insert a picture, frequently the application bar and the
view flash and nothing happens.  The application has to force-quit and try
2004: Insert Picture from File dialog - No preview03 Oct 2006 17:02 GMT2
What's odd about this is that when using Finder, we can get a preview of the
image without clicking the More Info button, but when we use the Insert
Picture from File browser we don't see the preview on network drives.
On the local drive we see the preview fine.
Most file properties not saved if a preview picture is enabled03 Oct 2006 16:58 GMT16
System is 10.4.7, PowerPoint 2004 + all patches.
Problem is that if I have selected "save preview picture", no properties
other than the title and company are saved.  The preview is never saved under
any conditions. If I don't choose to save a preview, then all other
