Creating slides from many photos21 Sep 2006 22:00 GMT1
Is there a quick, simple way to put a large number of photos into a
slideshow, with each photo on a separate slide? I have an album with
200+ slides (iPhoto), and I'd like to throw them all into a slideshow
and work with them from there. Does this require code to make it happen?
Random borders in notes pages (PP2004)21 Sep 2006 16:07 GMT2
I have noticed that when I print Notes pages from PowerPoint 2004, there are
borders in notes field on some pages. This happens regardless that I have
removed the borderline from Notes master page notes field.

On-screen (and via monitor) break timer??21 Sep 2006 06:42 GMT3
I was at a conference today and the presenter had a Mac and was using
Power Point for the presentation.  At break times, he had a cool
onscreen (and on monitor projection) timer that would count-down the
time left for the break.  It looked like a stopwatch.  It could be set

I enrolled in a class at a university and we have online lecture slides
with hyperlinks to other documents on the web to be read.
When I enter into slideshow mode and hover over a link, the typical
white gloved finger appears indicating a hyperlink.  However, when I

picture sharp?... if so, what's a safe dpi, 100, 200, 300?
Thank you.
Shortcut key to move between open presentations?15 Sep 2006 17:21 GMT6
Is there a short cut key combination to allow you to quickly move back
and forth between multiple presentations that are simultaneously open?
I can see that they are numbered in the Window menu, but have no idea
how to use that number to quickly jump from one presentation to
drag and drop from iPhoto not working15 Sep 2006 02:09 GMT1
You used to be able to drag photos from iPhoto directly into a
Powerpoint slide -- but now using the latest and greatest updates of
both programs, when you try to drag and drop it gives you the TIFF
error message (white bounding box with a message in it about the format

reference to it in the HELP section.  Anyone know anything about this?

Document assembly options?14 Sep 2006 23:11 GMT7
Hi;
I am putting together PPT presentations to be used in training. Does
PPT, or maybe an unknown (to me) related product provide the capability
to set up a presentation based on 'component' presentations?

My client is asking if this can be done... if so, how would I do it?...
Can you build a PowerPoint presentation or similar to run in a 16:9
aspect ratio for a plasma display at the show? It has to be very high

Quicktime Movie in Powerpoint 200407 Sep 2006 16:27 GMT1
I'm trying to get quicktime movies (.mov) to work in PPT 2004 on a Mac.
In normal view, you can see and run the movies.  As soon as you go
into slide show, the movies either won't play, or if they do play they
don't run properly.  The same file when opened in PPT X works
