I'm having trouble opening PowerPoint documents created in Office X
using Office 2004.  If the document contains links to audio files
PowerPoint crashes before completing the startup process.  PP docs
created in Office X that do not contain audio open fine.  I have:

 I have what seems to be a simple problem that I can't figure out. As
a teacher, I make vocabulary slideshows for the words we use. On each
slide, I have the word, a related image, and a definition. What I need
to do is simply remove the words from the master slide and apply the

I just purchased the latest version of Powerpoint 2004.  When trying to
view class slides I was unable to correctly view certain equations.
The equations were translated as images and where the numerical terms
are supposed to be located grey boxes are substituted.  I can view the

does anyone now about this error?
When trying to "insert --> slides from file", PPT obviously doesn't
recognize the formats and produces huge amounts of slides instead of only a
couple from the major headlines.

The Title Master option in my version (Mac Version X) is greyed out and I
cant select it to create master titles.  Is this a problem with this version
or just my computer?

I'm using the Powerpoint that came with Office Mac Pro 04. It crashes
when I try to go into slide show mode.
I'm using a 1Ghz iBook G4 running Mac OS 10.3.9.
I've already tried removing and reinstalling, and also taking out the

I have a PPT 2004 presentation created on a Mac that I would like to
distribute on CD. Ideally, the presentation should run with full
functionality (including transitions, animations, internal links, and
sound files) regardless of whether or not the recipient has PowerPoint

Using PPT 2004 for Mac and PPT 2003 for Windows.  Files created on PC
open OK on Mac, but those same files moved back to the PC open with
font corruption, with or without editing on the Mac.  Any ideas?

please can someone help? i have a dell inspirion 510m laptop that the
screen does not come up but when you connect an external monitor to it
it displays properly. the signaling cables have been changed but still

I have users creating Powerpoint Presentations on Windows computers
with Office 2003, when we take them to a Macintosh running (10.3)
Office 2004 some, not all, of the graphics are flipped and rotated. Any
suggestion on fixing this?
