I lecture biology using PowerPoint, and our textbook publisher is nice enough to provide media for presentations - like jpegs of text illustrations as well as animations. The newest edition of our text provides animations mostly in .swf

I've read the Help article about how to set up your settings to show Presenter Tools on your monitor and the slide show on a data projector. But in my System Preferences screen I don't have an "Arrangement" tab under "Displays"...just "Display" and "Color". Am I missing something?

Hi - I just installed office 2004, and I can't do anything in PowerPoint without getting a font error message: "The M S P (a bunch of Japanese letters) font is unavailable on your computer, so PowerPoint substituted another font"..."The M S P (a bunch of Japanese letters)

Hello, I'm dealing with a problem in Office X, PP SP1. I have a presentation with about 30 slides, with almost all of them containing inserted images. I didn't create the images, so I can't speak for their format. To my best knowledge, they are RGB jpegs.

I create a new presentation and it seems to embed asian fonts. When I give to a client they get an error message regarding not having the font when they open the presentation. When I try to replace the font I get a message that I can't replace a 2 byte
