I would like to place a custom slide in the slide layout folder.  Is there a
way to do this.

I need to increase the max size of my music file to 2M although I understand
that my MPeg3 music file will not embed, only link. To embed, I need to
change my audio file to a wav file. Is this true?
How do I do this?

I am running powerpoint98 on mac computer 8.6 os.  On one machine when you
open powerpoint and try to run the show powerpoint quits.  On other machines
when I try to print the slide show powerpoint quits.  Is this a known problem
and is there a fix.

Recently a Windows user colleague sent me a presentation that had a few
slides where I couldn't see the pictures; I could select it only
(placeholders appear) . If I double-click on the picture, I get the

If you have disabled Microsoft Error Reporting because of issues it had on
Tiger, I am pleased to report that these issues have been fixed in the
latest upgrade. Please enable the feature by following the steps listed
below:

PPT will not launch any more, giving me the error message about
having encountered a problem. I think it has to do my the latest
update but I am not sure. The log is below. Can anyone help?

Has anyone experienced this? The previous version was working OK
(finally, after some troubleshooting here), but now the new version
crashes right after the splashcreen.

Has anybody tested the performance of QuickTime movies with the new service
pack released today?  The stuttering and frame-dropping in v.2004 continues
to be a show-stopper for us...  Still on v.X.

What kind of sound file is accepted by Powerpoint 98? I can't insert a wave
or an mp3. What other format is usable?

I am working with Powerpoint 2004 for mac and need to add multiple masters.
Is there a way to add more then one master slide to a presentation? How can
I view the multiple masters? And can I change the layout of one of the
master slides (the placeholders...like change them from one ...

I'm working in PPT 11.1.1 on a 12" PB running OS 10.4.2.
Within the last few days, trying to open the drawing toolbar causes PPT
to lock (spinning beach ball).  Force quit shows PPT "not responding."
All other toolbars and the formatting palette work fine. Drawing

It appears that for some unknown reason, it is now impossible to post from
Google to many of the Microsoft newsgroups.  If you try, you get a variation
on this:  "Google Groups does not currently support posting to
microsoft.public.mac.office.word".

Is there a script or process of having a 2nd PPT file queued up and ready to
go so that one doesn't have to escape from the first and then start the
second? I would like to have one PPT running and then with a simple
keystroke have the 2nd one queued up and ready to begin.
