Slide Viewer oddity30 Apr 2005 20:47 GMT2
Using Powerpoint 2004 on OS 10.3 and selecting the slide sorder view, some
slides redraw fine, while others appear blank.  The same thing happens for
any presentation. No other mode does this:
- Selecting a "blank" slide for close inspection brings the image back
Updating links to multi-worksheet Excel document via VBA29 Apr 2005 03:00 GMT1

show how to change source files for a powerpoint

This is a multi page/worksheet presentation and users
Automatic insertion of pictures29 Apr 2005 01:55 GMT4
How can I say to PowerPoint 2004 for Mac OS to go automatically to such
folder to take a picture and to insert it in the presentation and come back
to that folder and so onŠ
Equation graphics in PowerPoint 200428 Apr 2005 18:50 GMT7
I have a lot of presentations that I put together 5-10 years ago using
various PC versions of PowerPoint.  I am now using Macs exclusively,
and have run into difficulty when I open these old presentations with
Mac PowerPoint 2004.  Specifically, all of the equations show as random
PPT Update Problem26 Apr 2005 13:21 GMT3
I'm running Office X under Mac OS 10.3.9 on a MDD DP G4.
I just installed the Office 10.1.6 Update.
When I attempt to open any PowerPoint presentation created with the
10.1.5 version, it refuses to open with the following error message:
Can 1 PP show display 2 time lines on 2 monitors?26 Apr 2005 03:50 GMT3
Can 1 PP show display 2 time lines on 2 monitors?
I would like to make a PP show that would sync two time lines (one
presentation) to two different monitors. For example: if one monitor
could show bullet points and the other monitor could show the photos or
True that PP uses absolute paths to locate video clip resources?????26 Apr 2005 02:41 GMT14
After suffering horribly with a presentation that refused to run any of the
video clips I had inserted, I contacted MS tech support. They were unable to
help me, but did tell me that ³it should work.²
No one could reproduce the problems, and none of the standard solution
Custom Shows25 Apr 2005 15:29 GMT1
I set up a custom show in my main presentation and when I run the slide
show I want to be able to exit out of the custom show portion at any
time without having to run the whole custom show. Is there a way to do
this? I have tried putting text hyperlinks on each of the pages in the
[Powerpoint 2004] Slide Backgrounds not Copying Correctly24 Apr 2005 20:03 GMT2
Has anyone else seen this problem with slide backgrounds?
We¹re running Powerpoint 2004 (ver 11.1.1) on a G4 iMac (OS X.3.8). In
previous versions of PPT, you¹ve been able to select ³Keep design when
copying slides between presentations,² and slides with a different
Graphic files that work in PP X don't display properly in PP200423 Apr 2005 03:21 GMT2
I often save a graphics file from Adobe Illustrator that has a transparent
background (not white) in PICT format and then import into PP. In PP X these
files are fine, but some of them in PP 2004 have strange black rectangles in
areas around vector objects that should be transparent ...
Mac to PC text problems: ? and ?21 Apr 2005 11:52 GMT5
"Less than or equal to" and "greater than or equal to" symbols
typed in PPT X do not work when the file is opened on a PC (nor do
they work on this forum, apparently!). Same problems with symbols
(alphas, betas, etc) as well as some bullets.
files disappear20 Apr 2005 21:34 GMT2
I have copied a presentation from a PC to a Mac with a USB stick. I am
sure it has been copied correctly. After I have altered the
presentation (changed animations) the file disappears from my Mac. I
mean really disappear, not become invisible or anything. IT IS GONE.
Blank graphic in PPT from a PC20 Apr 2005 16:59 GMT3
When I open a PPT presentation created on a PC (running the XP Office
version) one graphic is blank on the page.  I happen to know it was
pasted from Visio using paste special - enhanced metafile.  The corner
markers are there for the image but nothing but empty space in the
Printing chart axis text comes out white on white in Powerpoint 200420 Apr 2005 15:02 GMT4
I have charts within PP presentations that were created on a PC. When
the slides are printed in either greyscale or black and white from a
Mac running 2004 the chart axis text does not change to black on white
as the rest of the slide text does. I know this is easy to fix if we
printing Powerpoint to Acrobat file: how to influence file size?18 Apr 2005 16:24 GMT2
