I often save a graphics file from Adobe Illustrator that has a transparent background (not white) in PICT format and then import into PP. In PP X these files are fine, but some of them in PP 2004 have strange black rectangles in areas around vector objects that should be transparent ...

"Less than or equal to" and "greater than or equal to" symbols typed in PPT X do not work when the file is opened on a PC (nor do they work on this forum, apparently!). Same problems with symbols (alphas, betas, etc) as well as some bullets.

I have copied a presentation from a PC to a Mac with a USB stick. I am sure it has been copied correctly. After I have altered the presentation (changed animations) the file disappears from my Mac. I mean really disappear, not become invisible or anything. IT IS GONE.
