I have put together a PowerPoint presentation consisting of about 15 slides.
On each slide clicking a picture of me produces a sentence I recorded (in
French - yes, I'm a French teacher!). I now want to re-use the presentation
(doing a 'Save As') but with a different series of ...

[This is unrelated to the widely reported problems with movie frame rates.]
After copying all files from my old PowerBook to my new PowerBook, my
(Office 2004) PowerPoint slides will no longer find, load, play, or open
existing movies.

Can someone please confirm whether PowerPoint 2004 for Mac has the option of
inserting diagrams (Venn, pyramid, etc) - I know it's possible in PP 2002
for PCs, but can't seem to find it on my Mac.

I am preparing a series of six PowerPoint presentations to help my students
revise for their French exams - one presentation for each of six topics.
Each one is fairly large (between 8 and 10 Mb) as they contain spoken French
sentences.

Hi everyone, I have this problems:
1. I have a version of PPT for windows where I can find a function that
allows to compress all images in the file to 200dpi or 96dpi, I can't find
it in the mac version.

I have many ppt presentation in powerpoint 2001:mac which ran on OS
9.2.  Is it possible for me to open them in PPT v. X?  They don't show
up as readable files.

I am not sure what¹s happened but I use PP2004 a lot, and was working on a
talk and decided to view the slideshow. The program quit. I tried again with
blank file (in case original was damaged) - same problem. I deleted prefs,
same. Installed PP2004 - same,. Installed the whole of ...

Can I create a PP 2004 presentation and package it on a CD to be played on
PC's and Mac's that don't have PP installed?

How do I change the resolution of the jpegs in a powerpoint resolution.
Currently they are 72 ppi but each one is 4.8 MB.  Do I have to redo
everything in Photoshop or can I change it in Powerpoint.

Is there another way to align objects on a primary object without the
primary object moving in relation to the slide?
I seem to remember a Lock Object command, but I can't find it.

I am using PPT 2004 on an E-mac that is running System 10.3.8. In the
last month I have had two different Powerpoint presentations that would
not run on three different Windows laptops that were using PPT 2003. I
used both a CD and a flashdrive to transfer the files and got the same

I use Mac Office Suite 2004. When I loaded it, it installed loads of
fonts, quite a lot of which were Chinese, Japanese etc.
Since I don't speak these languages, i deleted them from the Font Book.
