Exactly what versions of powerpoint were made for macs and
what systems can they run on? I know 2001 was Classic
compatible and it seems that 2004 is also called X and is
OS X compatible. What was produced between these periods

I'm currently attempting to insert a FLASH file into a PPT (MAC)
presentation and I'm getting a message that PPT doesn't recognize
FLASH.
Is there a way to insert FLASH into PPT MAC presentations?

I would like for my students to be able to add text to a slide during a
presentation. I thought this was impossible, but saw it being done on
Windows last week. Is there anyway to do this in Office 2004? I thought
about trying to make a macro, but don¹t think it¹s possible to record ...

I am having problems every time I try to import (as an object) an MS
Word 2004 table with special characters into PowerPoint 2004. When a
special character is in the table, the text comes up as all little
black boxes--EXCEPT the special character which comes out fine. But

Often when I receive presentation via email that were
created in versions of PPT 2000 or lower--and most
recently MAC--the graphics and text on various slides
will completely disappear and the slide will revert back

I work at a school and at times need to take PPT presentations created
by others and save them as HTML to put on our web site.  I am dealing
with mostly Macs with a handful of PCs.  We have different versions of
browsers plus some teachers are on OS X while others are on OS 9.  I

characters appearing on the screen. True, I have an old 667 G4, but
should it be THAT slow? I've already deleted Office X, so I can't do a
direct comparison.

I was giving a presentation today (my first since installing SP1 on Office
2004) and, while trying to use the presenter tools, I realized that
PowerPoint was messing up the display to the projector. It was showing half
of one slide and then half of the next slide (or previous slide ...

I need a presenter with a laser pointer that is wireless and works on Mac.

I installed the service pack 1 on my computer now I am having a
problem opening up and creating new powerpoint documents. It's telling
me I have a problem with the MS then there are a bunch of oriental
letters after it saying it will substitute and or disable it.

I do Power Point presentatins.  I usuallky create them on my Mac or
Windows 98 machine and save to a floppy, and then present them on a
Windows 2000 presentation machine at my university.  (Unfortunately I do
not have a burner, nor a USB flash drive.  But floppies work okay for

 I have installed both Office 2002 and 2003 on PC and am enjoying the "Photo
Album" feature for creating slide shows from a pack of pictures taken.
 I installed Office 2004 on my Mac laptop and am searching for the same
feature - Where is "Photo Album" in Mac-land?

Having problems with PowerPoint crashes.  Not sure if linked to recent
NAV 9.0 installation so I unistalled NAV 9.0.  Reinstalled Office,
