Exactly what versions of powerpoint were made for macs and what systems can they run on? I know 2001 was Classic compatible and it seems that 2004 is also called X and is OS X compatible. What was produced between these periods

I'm currently attempting to insert a FLASH file into a PPT (MAC) presentation and I'm getting a message that PPT doesn't recognize FLASH. Is there a way to insert FLASH into PPT MAC presentations?

I am having problems every time I try to import (as an object) an MS Word 2004 table with special characters into PowerPoint 2004. When a special character is in the table, the text comes up as all little black boxes--EXCEPT the special character which comes out fine. But

I work at a school and at times need to take PPT presentations created by others and save them as HTML to put on our web site. I am dealing with mostly Macs with a handful of PCs. We have different versions of browsers plus some teachers are on OS X while others are on OS 9. I

Is it just me? There's a distinct lag between typing and the characters appearing on the screen. True, I have an old 667 G4, but should it be THAT slow? I've already deleted Office X, so I can't do a direct comparison.

I installed the service pack 1 on my computer now I am having a problem opening up and creating new powerpoint documents. It's telling me I have a problem with the MS then there are a bunch of oriental letters after it saying it will substitute and or disable it.

I do Power Point presentatins. I usuallky create them on my Mac or Windows 98 machine and save to a floppy, and then present them on a Windows 2000 presentation machine at my university. (Unfortunately I do not have a burner, nor a USB flash drive. But floppies work okay for
