I have not used Powerpoint before and am thinking about
purchasing it.
Can anyone tell me if Powerpoint files can be saved as

My version of Powerpoint (Office 2003) has the
measurements all set up in the metric system. How can I
change that? I'd like to work using the Imperial

a Mac (Photoshop) and imported them from a PC into a (PC) PowerPoint

PP 2004 has nice features but also lots of problems (both Mac OS 10.3.4/5).
Here some of them, which are sometimes annoying:
