Using the Guides to snap on screen objects in-line works great in PwrPnt X.
However, there are some issues in PwrPnt 2004.
1. Sometimes two guides appear for each axes, but only 1 set is actually

Is it possible at all?  Not just games, sure some olde DX 7 or 8 games
come to mind, but i mean for all DX apps.  If this is possible, I find
my PC running Linux with Windows a thing of the past....

In mac when I insert a pict file there is no problem viewing the
presentation, but when I try to view on a PC the pict. does not show.  Can
anyone help.

I am having trouble with running Quick Time Movies in the Slide Show
mode with 2004.  The movies are not running smoothly...very haltingly.
In the normal view it runs fine.  Ironically, I reopened Powerpoint
OS X and it runs perfectly.

I have Office v X for mac and until now I´ll never have
problems with the compatibility between powerpoint files,
however last week a friend give me a powerpoint

I know that when using PowerPoint v.X on the Mac with dual monitors, a

PowerPoint 2001 does not give you the option to click relative hyperlink.
Neither does it let you change the file name.  Is there an update for Office
2001 for Mac that fixes this problem. If so, can you tell me were to get it.

is there a way to add keyboard shortcuts to specific submenu items eg i
access the custom animation submenu often and would like to do it withthe
keyboard instead of using the mouse.

I have a powerpoint presentation that has embedded movies
(quicktime).  I would like to overlay these movies with text and
keep the text visable while the movie plays.  However,
when the movie plays it covers the text.  Is there anyway

OK, just upgraded to Office'04. I'm going to post any bug I find in any app

Apple's discussion site (which is great, BTW).

I have run the updates for Office X and still the dates in
my excel tables change to future dates when I past them
into PowerPoint,  How come?

I've heard that the with the new verision of Power Point for Mac OSX
(released last week in Office 2004) that you cannot take PP files
cross platform. Can anyone verify this?
