My ExpressCard slot on my 17" MacBook Pro broke. Cards inserted into the slot will not stay in; it just pushes them back out. So it needs repair. I had to make an appointment with a Mac Genius through the Concierge

New MacBook, and the Airport claims to be connected to the wireless network but nothing actually connects to the internet - no web pages, no Software Update. And the wireless network is fine because other computers are having no difficulty getting web pages.

I've got a weird problem I'm sure you can explain to me: If I'm trying to use several applications that need internet access over AirPort it seems like only one gets a decent internet "stream", even if the other does not take up nearly the maximum download

How's wi-fi reception on the macbook pro? I've had a 13" iBook G4 (white plastic) and a 15" powerbook G4 (aluminum). The WIFI reception on the iBook was great; the powerbook NOT so good. Probably the aluminum interfered with reception. Others
