I have a Mac PB 3400 which has served me well but has decided to give
up the ghost. I would like to pull the hard drive and transfer the
contents to my Imac (burn a CD or DVD image) and then appropriately
dispose of the computer. I believe the problem to be a dead power

to carry with me.

I read somewhere that I can increase the memory on my iBook G4 which has

Think I answered my own questions about whether a MacBook Pro
is "up to" the task of running Final Cut Studio.
With some Googling, I was able to find the site below, which is very
optimistic about the ability of the MacBook to handle FCS.
