girlfriend drove over the machine (... guess she was i  a hurry,
normally she´s a great driver)
the display broke - everything else is ok, impressive, as it was in a soft case

I just got an Apple 20-inch Cinema Display to hook up to my 12-inch
PowerBook (1.5 GHz processor, 1.25 GB SDRAM). I love having the big
screen, but I notice that the PowerBook's fans are going almost all the
time, which is a little bit of an annoyance.

I've been enlisted to check it out to see if it's OK to buy. I seem to
recall one of the Mac news sites had a listing of stolen laptop
serials to check, but google is not helping at the moment.  I checked
