How can I tell if anacron is running?  It uses localhost to send mail.

OK, I have postfix, Qpopper and anacron working on my new MacBook, but
mail to root is going into a black hole.  The aliases file claims mail
to root will get forwarded to me and that is what used to happen on my

I just moved from a PowerBook G4 to a MacBook Pro and everything went
perfectly except I cannot receive mail from localhost.  I suspect I set
up something to do this on the PowerBook 4+ years ago, but now I can't
remember what it was!

On the new MBP how much video RAM do I actually need for: Office,
Quicken, low level games (Civilization and the like), nice photos for
wallpaper & screen savers and amateur photography (little editing).  Is
128MB adequate or do I really need 256MB?

I have a Linksys Wireless-G Access point (WAP54Gver1.1) and have
