I have an iBook 500 MHz G3 that ran without problems until last week.
Now when I press the power-on button, nothing happens at all (no sounds,
no light, no noises), even when pressing for 10 seconds.
The battery is full.

I have a Powerbook PowerPC G4 1.5 GHz with 10.4.8 and the latest
updates.
I am not able to get a SimpleTech SimpleDrivePS (SP-U25/100 GB) to
mount when I connect using USB.

I just bought a Macbook Pro, 15", and the trackpad is driving me nuts.

Hello! any word on how to get the bottom part off a 12" powerbook. I
have dropped my computer before and a blacksmith repaired it with a
rubber hammer in less than a minute! Now the charger part is

Whenever I reboot or power up my iBook (OS 10.4.8, 900MHz G3, 512MB
RAM), it literally took about 5 minutes to reboot before I finally can
use it. Enabling the verbose mode does not give it a clue because the
first 4 minutes of it is just a lit up screen with the Apple logo and

my (about two year old) battery for my PBG3 Pismo goes from 100% to 70%
