I am looking to replace the battery on my 12" iBook G4 and I was
wondering - has anyone here tried any third party batteries ?  If so,
how well did they work ?  I was specifically considering these ones:

I've sent an email to the guy to who usually did my Macs (and then went
freelance) but have had no reply, so can anyone recommend a good and
reasonably priced Mac repair woman/man in the North Cornwall area? I
think the internal power socket side of my Wallstreet has gone.P

I bought a macbook pro after my powerbook took a nasty fall and cracked
the motherboard, everything else works except that. I was going to sell
it as parts but I was thinking it would be cool if there is a way to

My Clamshell ibook w/Firewire has a bum CD-ROM drive.  It died as I was
reinstalling the OS, and it is now rendered useless!
Is there any other way to boot and install an OS onto the clamshell
other than via CD-ROM?  Does it support network or firewire booting?

Hi all, just got a used powerbook 190cs and am having a problem. The
screen seems to only display in black and white, no color. I talked to
the guy I got it from but he doesnt really know anything about them.

Apple has apparently admitted that the discoloration on the wrist rests
