My new MacBook Pro has the following annyoing bugs:
Noise: high pitched noise from both loudspeakers (similar to the power
turbines that generate electricity for an aircraft), especially when the
processor is idle (no relationsship to display brightness), when not

Anyone have any recommendations for an external USB case for a 2.5" HD.
I'll be using a Hitachi HTS541080G9AT00 out of a  crashed G4 powerbook
with another G4 powerbook.  Also wondering if I'll be able to recover
data or will initializing the drive re-format it.  Thanks in advance.

I need help. Can I connect a Sony Digital 8 (DCR-TRV510) to my
Powerbook G4 and burn a DVD from the tape on the camcorder? If so, can
somebody tell me how to do this? thanks! I'm no video buff and have no
clue how this is going to work or even if it will. thanks in advance.

We have a Powerbook G3 Lombard (333) that we have been using for travel.
It fits the needs.
Decided to upgrade it from OS 9.2 to Panther. All seems OK so far during
testing but not speedy. ;)

Space bar is starting to be unresponsive - especially at the ends where
I have pounded it in "next-page" mode.  Is there a DIY way to remedy

Hi, I have a strange problem here. My year old PB G4 tends du do wierd
things when it's
woken up from a long time of sleep mode (usually overnight).

Just tonight the weirdest thing has been happening: when I type on some
of the keys, more than one letter is displayed e.g. I hit the G key and
'gh' displays etc.
