Does anyone have a clue on how to manually trigger the fan in a Pismo? Im certain that must be the issue. After 6 returns to Apple and never working to full potential I still would like to use the machine. Now I've replaced the fan and it still won't.

Can anybody help me with this? Recently, my Alu G4 powerbook has started to do a hard shutdown (rather than a gentle sleep) when my battery goes to zero %. I do get the sleep warning at ten percent or so. It happens with two different batteries. I have done a PMU reset
