I'm stumped. A Powerbook G4 Titanium, which otherwise works like a
charm, will not recognize an Aerocard Wireless Cardbus Card. I'm hoping
someone might have advice.I've contacted Macsense support twice asking
for assitance but they have not responded and it's been over a week

Right after the upgrade to 10.4.3 on my PowerBook G4 I have been
having a weird issue where after it sits for five minutes or so
without any interaction, the first keyboard key I press is ignored.
It's like the keyboard "goes to sleep" and needs a keypress to wake

I have had a problem with my powerbook of late.  I am running under 10.2.8 and
the powerbook is about a year old and has been mostly run on a powersupply and
rarely on the battery.
The problem is that lately when running under battery when I get down to a

M3553 powerbook G3 laptop.
I got the green light on the lid
indicating power only ONCE...
For about 30 seconds

Sometimes I have read this PB can use up to 1 GB of ram ... Is it true ?
I have tried to upgrade one of the two slots with a 256 mb but it seems
only 128 are recognized ....
Any explanation about this ?

I have a chance to get a really good deal (cheap) on an almost new 14"
ibook. The problem is it has German OS and keyboard. If I load US tiger and
swap the keyboard for a US keyboard, will it then function just like a US
version or are there other issues.

Can I take the Logic Board from a 466MHz clamshell iBook and use it in
place of a 300MHz one?
The old iBook I have now is nice, but it's not particularly
upgradeable....

So how about those new Powerbooks introduced yesterday?
Anyone had the chance to try them out?
I've been wanting to get a 15" Powerbook, and it seems like now's
the right time, but I would like to hear if the new model has any

Are there any good solutions out there for protecting a 15" Powerbook
(the new version, introduced just a few weeks ago, which I believe is a
little wider than the previous version)?

Does anyone have a supply of the manufacturer's part numbers for the 12 inch
screen on a 1GHz G4 Powerbook please? I need to cross-reference them and

A month ago my laptop died and was sent away under warranty. After a month
