iBook screen goes black, but backlight is ON29 Sep 2005 16:43 GMT1
My iBook screen after a few minutes of use goes black. It does not turn
off, the backlight is still ON.
I press keys and move the mouse and nothing happens. I have to remove
the battery and reboot the machine. The same thing then happens again

Hey, i'm thinking on buy a new laptop (powerbook), although, i dont

I have been having problems ever since I installed microsoft word on my
12" dual usb ibook.  First it couldn't find an os so I had to reinstall
from the system disc (I think it was os 10.2 but am not positive) and
in the process wiped out my entire itunes library - still don't know ...

I recently made the great switch, PC to Mac, and am mostly delighted by
my long delayed decision. As I work in a tiny home office, I've always
relied (in my PC days) on some sort of multifunction (fax, print, scan)
machine and currently have a Brother 4420C. Alas, it doesn't work as ...
