Hi. So...I'm thinking of buying either a titanium Powerbook or a white G3 iBook(probably 600 0r 700). Mostly I'll just use it for internet surfing, but I also want to run Photoshop 7. Any opinions on which would be a better choice?

I am upgrading my Pismo Powerbook G3/500 Mhz and just got more RAM, fro 256 to 528. Any instructions, suggestions, things to look for, o advise on how to install without crashing or anything funny like that --

I'm about to buy some more RAM for my PowerBook, and trying to decide if I should pay someone at the Mac store to install it, or do it myself. Anyone have any input on how hard it is to do without hurting your machine?

Hi y'all. My poor lil' ibook no longer plays DVD properly, I can play the sound, but no image. I'm running 9.2.2, and have tried many different dvd's including those that I know to work previously in the machine. .

I also posted this in uk.comp.sys.mac, and I am UK based, but there are probably more Titanium PowerBook experts here, so I thought I would ask here as well: I have a TiBook (1Ghz, 1GB RAM, DVD-R, 10.4.2) that I adore.

Can anyone tell me if they have seen this glitch before... I charge my 4 month old ibook G4 1 Ghz to 100% then I use it (on battery) for most of the day at work. When I get home I rechage it until the menu bar indicator shows charged. Now if I check the percentage it only show

A google search reveals that some PC mp3-player software allows you to see (at the click of a button, supposedly) all the playlists a given song in your library appears on. Can ITunes do that? It's not a column view option, I've noticed. One of the reason I hesitate to throw away

I'm trying to transfer files from my *old* pc to my powerbook. the pc is running Win '95, the powerbook Tiger. The pc doesn't have a cd-burner, and the powerbook hasn't got a floppy drive.
