I love my new ibook ... but that blinking cursor is driving me up the wall!
I managed to banish the blinking cursor from my pc desktop by editing
the registry. Is there a similar method to stop my mac cursor from
blinking?

I fried the modem part of the com card.
Is the ethernet part also destroyed?
I'd like to net it to my newer G4(AGP).
(I don't have a way of  testing it ,yet)

The wi-fi signal on my Lombard powerbook is pretty poor - shows  ~ 66%

Hi,  I'm thinking about getting a 12" ibook, but not sure if it will
suit my purpose.  I like the size and price level of it but wonder if I
will need more power.  I'm thinking of upgrading the hard drive to 60GB
and the ram by ading an aditional 512 MB.

I've got a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet Series II, PowerPC G3 300MHz.
My question is about the sound output on this unit.
I have a pair of external AppleDesign Powered Speakers hooked up to this
PowerBook, and the past week or two I noticed the sound to the right

I'm getting serious about buying a new computer after many years with my
trusted Pismo and I'd like to get some opinions about the new laptops

I'm looking for the best way to transfer the entire contents of a factory 6 GB
Lombard hard drive, running OS 9, to a new large capacity hard drive on which I
can install OS X yet keep all my OS 9 stuff intact.
I understand that Carbon Copy Cloner would work if I already had OS X ...

I plan to buy a iBook for my wife in the states while visiting SF :) - the
point is, will I be able to switch the language into german or do I have to
buy a german MAC OSX?

We have a wireless router to which are connected a Win-XP PRO machine
and two G4 iBooks.
An HP parallel printer is attached by cable to the Win-XP machine.
How can i print from an iBook ?

My daughter recently acquired a PowerBook 1400. Is there a PC card w/appropriate
drivers for OS9 that will give her USB connectivity?

My 12" pb slot loading superdrive won't accept a disc.  You can slide
the disc in about half way then it feels like something is blocking the
path.  Does anyone know of a remedy of this situation or somehow to
troubleshoot?
