I love my new ibook ... but that blinking cursor is driving me up the wall! I managed to banish the blinking cursor from my pc desktop by editing the registry. Is there a similar method to stop my mac cursor from blinking?

I fried the modem part of the com card. Is the ethernet part also destroyed? I'd like to net it to my newer G4(AGP). (I don't have a way of testing it ,yet)

The wi-fi signal on my Lombard powerbook is pretty poor - shows ~ 66% near the basestation (Airport 802.11b) and fades to nothing at various parts of the back room (20ft away 2 walls/doors). It is using an Orinoco Silver card and the Ioexperts driver on 10.2.8.

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a 12" ibook, but not sure if it will suit my purpose. I like the size and price level of it but wonder if I will need more power. I'm thinking of upgrading the hard drive to 60GB and the ram by ading an aditional 512 MB.

My 12" pb slot loading superdrive won't accept a disc. You can slide the disc in about half way then it feels like something is blocking the path. Does anyone know of a remedy of this situation or somehow to troubleshoot?
