what is the difference between aiport card and airport extreme card???
my ibook is 700MHz Power PC G3 running OSX 10.2.8, if i want to use
the airport
wireless function, should I buy the airport card ?? or the airport

I have an old duo 2300c, I also have 3 powersupplies for it, a floppy,
newertech ethernet microdock, apple mini dock, two full size docks, adb
flexlight, adb numpad.... etc..
about the only thing I DON'T have for this machine is a working battery

I am trying to down load acrobat reader 6 for my mac 12 inch laptop g4
(osx 10.2.8). Every site down loads a DMG file. For some reason when I
tire to open it I get an error message that states "incompatable

Can anyone point me to instructions for installing a RAM module in a 3400?
I've done quite a bit of web searching but cannot seem to locate one.

My girlfriends beloved Pismo has recently started to act weird with the
connection to the powercord (on the back of the computer).
It started sometimes not charging when it was attached and you'd have to
move the connector a bit to get it to work, now it's showing classic

i have a powerbook g3 lombard.  i am shopping for my first cell phone
and am considering getting a cheap one with a cheap digital camera
therein with an eye towards taking photos of furniture i want to

I tried booting a PB 17" off a OSX 10.3.3 DVD Restore disk that I had
used without problem on a second PB 12" of mine. I used Disk Utility to
erase the drive and started the install. But when Checking Your
Installation Disk came up it would freeze after a given percent. I

The trackpad button of my brand new iBook G4 clicks very loud compared
to the one of my Pismo. I'm thinking about calling Apple support but
before I want to hear if this is normal behaviour, bad quality or a
chance for replacement.

My CD drive (CDRW/DVD) is suddenly not accepting discs! I can insert a
disc in halfway before feeling "springy" pressure; any attempt to
insert the disc fully results in it being punted out and a low tone
being emitted 3-5 times. Sounds almost like an error tone but I presume

Got a brand new PB 1.25, and for some reason it won't restart - only
shutdown, then start.
If I leave it overnight with the powersupply plugged in, it won't start at
all - not until I detach the powersupply ...
