I am looking for a PDA, for use with both Mac and PC. I have
previously used a Psion 5, which was a fantastic machine while it
lasted, and an old Palm - which was soon sold on ebay after not
proving a useful tool.

Hi all. I got a new iBook battery from Apple for free (AppleCare,
natch) a couple months back. My batt had almost exactly 4.000 Ah
capacity. Now it's got about 3.2 Ah. Is this kind of dropoff normal? Or
is it sinking fast..? TIA.

I've just acquired a Powerbook G3 in pristine physical condition - the
only problem is that it doesn't power up at all. I've meticulously
taken the thing apart and then put it back together (following

I've got a few batteries for my Pismo PB that have been sitting around
for eever, No matter how long i keep them in the Powerbook for
recharging, the indicator LEDs only blink one light when I press the
button.

Just got my first-ever Mac, and I'm liking it. However, I can't get
Norton Antivirus for Mac 9.0.2(115) to work properly. the scan
functions work just fine, but the autoprotect function dies at startup
with the message "autoprotect could not continue" followed by another

Not sure what to call them...but the two rubber bumper things on right
and left side of my 15" TiBook have come off.
There are little slits on the Powerbook where they once were.
These are the ones the screen lid comes down and hits upon them.
