I just bought an IBook G4 and I am trying to print (through a network) to a printer that is running off of my PC (Windows XP). Does anyone know what HP drivers in Gimp Print are compatible with my HP Deskjet 3650? I looked on the Gimp-Print web site and the 3650 is not listed.

I was at a conference in Spain recently, and was taking notes on my iBook. I was bored, and hit the airport software button -- and a wireless network set up by Telefonica showed up. The signal was really strong. Whoopie! I figured out that I needed to buy time on the network, and ...

I have an iBook G4 800. I have never had any problems with the battery, but when I look at my case the left side of the battery is less flush than the right/corner. How tightly should the battery lock into place? Is this normal, or do I

The 15" AlBook has Firewire 400 and 800 ports. Is there an included dongle to make the 800 port compatible with a 400 device? I'm wondering if it's possible to connect two Firewire 400 devices without daisy-chaining them. Thanks!

| iBook G4 review in MacHome magazine | 24 Aug 2004 20:51 GMT | 20 |
Hey all, There's a rather unflattering review in the current MacHome of the new 12" iBook G4 written by someone who isn't a native speaker of English (e.g. "but's" used instead of "but it's").

| Alternative to Airport Card in Pismo? | 23 Aug 2004 18:48 GMT | 9 |
I recently set up a wireless network with my Powerbook G4, Power PC 7500, and Powerbook Firewire Pismo. I had never purchased an Airport card for the Pismo so I've been connected via ethernet cable to the Linksys wireless router. The G4 Powerbook is connected wirelessly via

Some weeks ago I posted of a problem getting AOL for OS X to connect while using an iBook running Panther, with an Airport Extreme card, through a D-Link 802.11b router and a DSL connection. The consensus was this was a problem with the AOL software.
