| pismo trackpad question: hardware, software? | 31 Aug 2004 11:01 GMT | 5 |
This 400mhz Pismo is getting erratic: I can't always control where the cursor moves, whether it moves at all. Sometimes it wants to select the entire line I'm on, or all the lines to which I move above or below the cursor.

| making some more hard drive space on my new iBook | 30 Aug 2004 19:52 GMT | 6 |
I just bought a 12" iBook with 30GB hard drive. I notice that out of the box quite a lot of drive space is already used and I'm wondering what I can free up without trashing the system in some way? I'm already managed to remove Garage Band, as I'm not really into it.

Greetings. Does _anyone_ make a pcmcia/pc-card/cardbus card for 'G'-speed wireless under System 9, or could the reason I can't find one be that they don't exist? TIA.

| Pismo battery issue | 29 Aug 2004 16:04 GMT | 1 |
I have an odd battery issue going on here. I had send my Pismo off to get some work done on it. When I sent it out, the battery I had was generally carrying a charge for about an 1:30 or so. At some point during the work process, I was told that the battery was (suddenly, AFAIK) ...

| iPod scratching | 29 Aug 2004 04:18 GMT | 6 |
All: I've had my 40Gb click wheel iPod for just a couple of weeks and it's already getting all scratched up. I use it a lot, but I wonder if I'm abusing it, or if that's just the price of doing business?

| Is Apple really different than any other corporation? | 29 Aug 2004 04:11 GMT | 44 |
I have to admit that Apple seems to be putting out some decent products, but is Apple -- as a company -- really any better than IBM or Dell? For instance I heard that there was a class-action lawsuit against Apple because of white blotches that showed up on some 15 inch LCDs on ...

| Watching DVD on a televsion | 29 Aug 2004 03:39 GMT | 1 |
