How do I deal with the following iBook malfunction.  The screen remains
dark, as in no picture, even upon restart. I tried removing the battery,
waiting a minute or so, then replacing the battery and restarting.  This

Thinking about buying an iBook and using it as my only / main
computer.  Only isn't quite right - I have an old homebuilt PC serving
as my home LAN gateway right now, but I use it for nothing else.

I've noticed that my Powerbook won't stay asleep if an external
monitor is plugged into it. The light will flash once, then the unit
will wake up. Anyone else having this problem? I think it's new to a

Looking to buy a Powerbook for travel/vacations. Prefer the 12" size for

I've just gotten a (used) ibook (800, 10.2.8) that seems to have a bit of
a keyboard challenge. I've never owned a mac, or used one much, before so
I'm picking at this stuff pretty slowly.
