My daughter's ibook screen started flickering some yesterday. Today when she starts it, it starts and gets to little spinning lines and then the screen goes to white. Any ideas as to the problem or suggestions??? Thanks

I'm wodering if anyone here has pulled their logic board- the CPU was bonded to the heat tube assembly with a sticky black pad and this had to go upon replacing. I tried thermal grease, did a test fit, tightened the two screws

I've had two Wallstreets die of similar maladies. Both running Jaguar, and both get to stage where when you start up, it runs fine for a while off the power brick then goes to battery and says you will be put to sleep unless you plug in, but it is plugged in...so I tried ...

I'm trying to use an Eridol UA-1A USB audio device with my Pismo laptop. It works but there's a nasty buzz that kind of throbs - gets louder then quieter - about once a second. And when I click and hold with the USB mouse (plugged into the other USB port) the buzz disappears. This

How do you edit a web page using apple? In Windows you can cut & paste text and the colored boxes the text can be found in. With the PowerBooks I only get text. Do I need some kind of plug to fix this?
