screen problem on 12" ibook21 May 2004 15:59 GMT1
My daughter's ibook screen started flickering some yesterday.  Today when she
starts it,  it starts and gets to little spinning lines and then the screen
goes to white.  Any ideas as to the problem or suggestions???

So I'm trying to get under the hood a bit with this unix stuff
and am having a few problems.

the CPU was bonded to the heat tube assembly with a sticky black pad and

I've had two Wallstreets die of similar maladies. Both  running Jaguar,
and both get to stage where when you start up, it runs fine for a while
off the power brick then goes to battery and says you will be put to
sleep unless you plug in, but it is plugged in...so I tried ...

I'm trying to use an Eridol UA-1A USB audio device with my Pismo laptop.
It works but there's a nasty buzz that kind of throbs - gets louder then

How do you edit a web page using apple?
In Windows you can cut & paste text and the colored boxes the text can
be found in.  With the PowerBooks I only get text.  Do I need some
kind of plug to fix this?

Something strange happened to me recently when I switched computers
and operating systems.
I used to run OS9 on an iBook 500. I used an external CD-RW to burn a
CD-RW full of documents and images. I filled up that CD-RW to its full
