| dying Pismo | 24 Feb 2004 01:27 GMT | 5 |
I LOVE my Pismo. I have to type a lot. Reclining in the easy chair with the Pismo cradled between my knees is the only way to type for a long time that doesn't hurt my back. I've tried every other way, believe me. It's been reliable. It's fast enough at 400 mhz to do everything I ...

| iBook G4 problems | 23 Feb 2004 19:49 GMT | 8 |
I've heard of the iBook G3 issues with the USB ports, the computer randomly restarting, the video glitches, etc. But it's happening on my brand-new iBook G4. If I am sitting with it in my lap, working, and pick it up to move it, sometimes will just die. The power completely cuts

I heard it is possible to disable this in MacOS X (10.2.8). How do I do that? I do not see this option in Energy Saver option. I would like to keep AirPort and NIC going during PowerBook G4 (1 Ghz; 15")'s sleep. Thank you in advance. :)

I was hoping somebody out there might have a dongle (aka clyde) cable adapter for a Global Village PCMCIA card. Specifically I need one for my Global Village Model A959, but I think as long as it's a global village dongle with a RJ45 port and an RJ11 port it will do the trick. The ...

I just recently got a used iBook DV SE 466(the last of the old school "toilet seat" style), and am really enjoying it...but the DVD drive absolutely refuses to read DVD's or CD's. A few different things happen, but in the end, it won't read them:
