I just would like to know if some pismo owner using it mainly under
Panther has succeeded to keep more than three hours his machine living
with its battery.
Has someone bought a new battery and succeeded to use the pismo for a

I've had a Toshiba 60GAS drive in my wallstreet for almost two years now.  It
is very quiet, but lately has been acting up (unable to read/write) when the
machine is used hard and the temperature gets very high.
Is this a failing of the Toshiba product line, or is the higher ...

I'm pretty interested in buying a 12" 800MHz iBook, and have been
doing quite a lot of reasearch. The best price I've seen it in the UK
is £849 (though since I'm a university student I can get it from the
Apple store for £747, not bad at all!)

I have just acquired an original Powerbook G3, AKA Kanga. The PB has a
power problem that I need help narrowing down. It originally would not
power up with either AC power or the battery so I did the power

I've got an Apple Powerbook 3400c with 144 megs of RAM, and I'm
running Mac OS 8.6.  It starts up fine, but when it gets to the
desktop, the icons start flashing several times for about 10 seconds
then it freezes.  If I boot it up with the extensions off, it just
