Can my one year-old PowerBook G4 (1 Ghz) use DVD+RWs? I have a HP DVD+RW and PowerBook ejects this DVD+RW after it is being inserted. Thank you in advance. :)

have a new bti battery in my ibook clamshell running Panther, it does not charge properly, starts to charge then stops, the original Apple battery will charge properly but is old and only gives an hour or so time anything I can try to fix this, zapped pram, no go, have not reset

My Powerbook G4 667 MHz w/ 512 MB is becoming a dog. Even the simplest things, such as opening a control panel, are taking 5-10 seconds. Things dog and drag, such as when clicking items in Dreamweaver. Click (pause pause) reaction.

Someone just gave me a 3400. This is one step up from the loaded 1400 I am currently using, plus it has an extra battery, making it a little more useful. Can someone point me to a site where the optimum upgrades (in terms of performance and value) for this machine are discussed? ...

I'm in the process of trading in my G4 667 and am not sure whether to get a 15 and an external monitor or a 17. I use the PB as my home desktop and it travels with me once a month or so. The 17 would be more convenient on my desktop -- less footprint than a 15
