Need to convice my wife re a new Powerbook....31 Dec 2003 20:45 GMT10
So, I want to buy a new 15" Powerbook. I currently have an older PC
laptop, my wife has a newer iMac, and we also have a desktop PC. I use
my laptop primarily for work (word processing, 'net research and
powerpoint) and her iMac for iTunes and iMovie. For some reason she

I have a question regarding display of text on the ibook G4 lcd. I
have used a CRT monitor for years so don't have much experinece with
lcd screens. Graphics on my screen look great, but I would rate the

I have the Ti Powerbook 1ghz with 512 mb of ram and 64 MB DDR. I am
trying to run the Return to Castle Wolfenstein ( RTCW ) Multiplayer
Demo.  I couldn't get it to actually play.  It loads the game fine and
when It logs on to a server the video is horrid!  Very sketch

After an update from OSX to OSX 10.2.3 my Orange FireWire PC card doesn't
mount an extern hard disk anymore.
I still see the icon for the card in the menu on top of the screen.
Does anyone know what's the problem here.  Is there a driver available for

We  just got a Sony Clie SJ22 and we are trying to get it to work with a
Powerbook G3 running OS 9.1.
We installed the palm OS 4.0 software on the Mac and tried using the supplied
USB cable to synchronize.  The Sony seems to talk to the Mac and goes through

I absolutely hate where the Fn key is on my Ti PB.  I'm running
Panther, 10.3.1 I think.  I frequenly use tightVNC to run stuff
on my work Unix boxes so I use the Ctrl key alot.  I would
really like the Ctrl key to be where the Caps-Lock key is, but

Hopefully someone can help me out. I recieved a RAM module as a

The person who purchased the module told the retailer what model

Have recently got G4 Powerbook with Panther OSand was trying to use my
Speedtouch USB DSL modem to get connected to internet but Speedtouch drivers
do not seem to install or be recognised. Have tried latest drivers v2.01)

a 250 MHz Kanga (first powerbook G3) and a dialup internet connection
