| How to open an iPod? (Headphones input broken) | 01 Nov 2003 00:21 GMT | 3 |
the headphone input of my iPod is broken (the round plastic thing only). It still works fine but the mini-jacks don´t stay in unfortunately. So I´m wondering if there is an easy (and safe) way to open/close the iPod. It´s a first generation iPod 5GB (no warranty).

I'm having issues browsing one website that used to run fine on Safari. I seemed to have tracked the issue back to 'javascript'. When enabled then the site doesn't run correctly i.e the links don't work. If I disable javascript then it runs fine.

| how do I open an iPod? | 30 Oct 2003 18:45 GMT | 3 |
I dropped my iPod on the floor (carpet on concrete) from shoulder level, and it was in an inCase case. No damage, still works fine, except the metalic case is very slightly bent over the "hold" switch. I'd like to open the iPod to straighten the case. It's still under "warranty" ...
