I have a G3 Wall Street with a newer Lithium-Ion battery. Suddenly the machine stopped recognizing the battery, showing an "X" through the battery icon on the desktop menu. This happened after I'd bumped the computer accidentally, but not violently, against a doorway while it was in ...

| PB 540c + 9.1 - serial port not seen by comm toolbox | 31 Jul 2003 03:58 GMT | 5 |
I've got OS 9.1 running on a PB 540c (stop chuckling - it actually runs quite well!). In fact, I've crammed it onto a Compact Flash card with 30Mb to spare, so I can shut down the HD and have it run silently. However my problem is that the comm toolbox is not seeing
