I made a standard installation of Office 2008 for Mac, and realized that several proofing tools (many languages) that I never will use, were installed. How can I remove these proofing tools in the safest way to regain hard disk space?

I am running a version 10.1.4 on my macbook, can you tell me how I can update this? I tried downloading 11.1 but it wont load and asks for a later version than 10.1.4 but there are no downloads to upgrade from 10 to 11. Sugestions please.
